Joint Administrators seek buyer for Oxford biotechnology business

Sue Staunton and Sandra Mundy of James Cowper Kreston were appointed Joint Administrators of Orbit Discovery Limited on 20 July 2026.

Orbit Discovery is an Oxford-based biotechnology business employing 30 people and specialising in peptide discovery services that support the development of new therapeutic treatments. The company has established expertise in helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations accelerate drug discovery programmes.

The Joint Administrators are actively seeking buyers for the business and its assets and are inviting expressions of interest from prospective acquirers.
