James Cowper Kreston are pleased to announce the appointments of a new partner and two new directors at the firm.

Taking effect from 1 May 2018, Nick Butler has been promoted to the role of partner with Tom Russell and Richard Dickson being promoted to Director within their respective Service Lines.

Nick, based in the Newbury office and Managing Director of JC Payroll, has been with the company for nearly two decades. He has held management roles within several national and international organisations after qualifying through the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals in 1996 and now has the full range of UK domestic payroll experience that you would expect but also has a wealth of experience of inbound and outbound expatriate payrolls.

Richard joined the firm in June 2016 and has been appointed to the role of HR Director. He has predominantly worked in the financial and professional sectors in a Human Resources capacity over his 20 year career. Richard is a member of the Chartered Institute of CIPD and oversees the HR function for the entire firm.

Tom, a member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants, and a qualified insolvency practitioner, has been appointed to the role of Business Recovery and Insolvency Director. Tom advises corporate clients in relation to their own financial issues or those of their clients, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. His experience covers a wide variety of sectors including, HR and recruitment, leisure, food, manufacturing, outsourcing and retail.
