Tom Russell appointed President of R3 – the Association of Business Recovery Professionals

We're pleased to announce that Tom Russell, Director in our Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) team, has recently been appointed as the President of R3 – the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

R3 is the leading association for insolvency and restructuring professionals in the UK. Members are qualified, regulated practitioners from across the profession, representing organisations from global legal and accountancy firms to smaller, local practices. Collectively, they play a vital role in ensuring the UK remains a global hub for resolving financial distress.

Tom has served as R3's Vice President since April 2024 and brings deep expertise and dedication to his new role.

Commenting on his appointment, Tom said: “I am honoured and excited to be appointed President of R3. Having served as Vice President over the past year, I’ve seen first-hand the vital work R3 does in supporting members and promoting the value and importance of the insolvency and restructuring profession.
