Our Corporate Finance team, led by Jack Griggs and supported by Mark Cheung, recently advised TPA Capital LLP on its partnership with Lysander Associates, a leading pan-European consultancy in the built environment.

Lysander provides project management, cost management, building surveying and related advisory services to enterprise clients delivering complex construction projects. The firm serves clients primarily in the industrial, logistics and data centre markets.

The investment will support Lysander’s management team in accelerating growth across its disciplines, geographies and end markets, while the founders continue to lead and grow the business.

Jason Birt, Investment Director at TPA, commented: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to back Richard, Tim and the rest of the Lysander management team. We have spent some time searching for the right platform investment in the built environment space and in Lysander we are partnering with a business that has an excellent reputation in the market, having established itself as a trusted advisor to clients on complex projects across a range of end verticals and geographies. We see significant opportunity to support the team in further accelerating its growth ambitions, both organic and inorganic.”

He added: “Thanks to Jack and Mark for their support on the transaction. Having discussed the market with Jack over a period of time, we knew he was the right person to support us on this project, given his experience and strong track record in the built environment consulting space. His insights and sector knowledge were invaluable in providing broader perspective and guiding us through the key drivers and nuances of the sector.”

Jack Griggs, Director at James Cowper Kreston Corporate Finance, commented: “It’s great to add another high-quality built environment credential to James Cowper Kreston’s growing track record. It was a pleasure to support Jason and the TPA team on their partnership with Lysander, a pan-European platform with strong growth potential. We look forward to seeing the progress they achieve together and to supporting their future inorganic growth ambitions.”
