We are pleased to have supported Axiom Equity Capital Partners LLP, a specialist B2B SaaS growth equity fund, on its investment in Risk Ledger Ltd, a provider of third-party risk management software.
Founded in 2021, Axiom Equity specialises in backing high-growth, founder-led B2B SaaS businesses across the UK and Ireland. The firm identified Risk Ledger as an innovative and fast-growing business operating within the rapidly expanding technology sector.
Founded by Haydn Brooks and Daniel Saul in 2018, Risk Ledger provides a risk management platform, helping organisations to gain greater visibility and control over supply chain and cybersecurity risks. The business has established itself as a trusted partner to organisations looking to strengthen their risk management processes through technology.
This investment will support Risk Ledger's next phase of growth, providing access to additional resources and investment while enabling Axiom Equity to further strengthen its portfolio of high-growth technology businesses.
Our Corporate Finance team, led by Brad McAvoy together with Phil Snell from our Business Tax team and supported by Nikul Patel, provided financial and tax due diligence and tax structing advice for the transaction.
Jonathan Organ, Founding Partner, of Axiom Equity, added: “Risk Ledger is creating a category rather than competing in an old one. The network it has built is hard to replicate and grows more valuable with every organisation that joins, which is exactly the kind of business we look to back. The team has earned real trust with serious customers, and the product reflects that discipline. We are pleased to lead this round as the final investment from our first fund, and to support Risk Ledger through its next stage of growth.”
Brad McAvoy commented: “We are pleased to be working with Axiom Equity Capital Partners again, advising them on its investment in Risk Ledger Ltd, strengthening its position within the technology sector.”
