James Cowper Kreston’s Corporate Finance team recently provided transaction support to Piper Private Equity on their £5m investment into online natural health supplements brand, Wild Nutrition.

Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Henrietta and Charlie Norton, Wild Nutrition’s focus has been to provide ethically and sustainably formulated supplements using an in-house team and high-quality, fully traceable ingredients. Their products can be found in Whole Foods, Harrods, Selfridges and independent stores across the UK.

The investment is the tenth from Piper’s Piper VI £123 million fund and the firm’s fifth in the digital wellness space after it previously invested in Neom Organics, Wattbike, Mindful Chef and group exercise fitness brand Frame. The investment will allow Wild Nutrition to strengthen its team, bring out a range of new products, drive online growth further in the UK and expand internationally.

Led by Brad McAvoy, the Corporate Finance team at James Cowper Kreston provided due diligence assistance to Piper on the deal.

Brad McAvoy commented: “We were excited to work with Piper on their investment in Wild Nutrients.  Piper is the ideal partner for Wild Nutrients to achieve its growth and innovation ambitions. We look forward to working with Piper again as they look for more exciting brand opportunities.”
