Our Corporate Finance team, led by Nikul Patel and supported by Pedro De Andrade and Alex Nicholson recently provided financial and tax due diligence services to Altano Group on their acquisition of of Pinkham Equine Limited (“Pinkham”) and Equistar Veterinary Services Limited (“Equistar”).

Pinkham and Equistar are well established UK based equine veterinary practices, recognised for delivering clinical care and specialist services to the equine sector. Both businesses have built strong reputations within their respective regions, supported by experienced veterinary teams and long-standing client relationships.

Altano Group is a rapidly growing global equine veterinary group, focused on partnering with practices to support their continued development while preserving clinical excellence and local expertise. This acquisition further strengthens Altano’s presence in the UK and aligns with its strategy of building a leading, collaborative network of equine veterinary professionals.

Charlie Pinkham of Pinkham Equine Veterinary Services, commented: "Altano brings together some of the world's leading equine clinics and practices, and we are proud to now be part of this community. The clear focus on the horse and the leading role in modern equine medicine are in line with our own vision, namely 'to provide excellence in veterinary care for horses and outstanding service to our clients'. Being part of the group gives us the support we need to continue to grow and develop our practice. It also opens up valuable opportunities for collaboration with world-renowned equine veterinarians. I am excited to see where this partnership will take us."

Nikul Patel, Director at James Cowper Kreston Corporate Finance, commented: “We are delighted to have supported Altano on its acquisition of Pinkham and Equistar, marking the fifth acquisition we have worked on together. We look forward to continuing our work with Altano as it pursues further growth in the UK and internationally.”
