International Tax
As your business grows, your global tax bill can be affected substantially by how your operations are structured. Our tax team not only has an in-depth understanding of the UK tax rules, they are also experts on how these rules interact with overseas legislation to minimise tax payments and avoid double taxation. They have carried out transfer pricing studies for many of our clients and helped them to implement our recommendations. Expatriate Advisory Service
James Cowper Kreston's expatriate advisory service forms part of our specialist International Services, enabling us to advise companies and individuals on all expatriate related matters. You may not have the in-house skills to deal with the multi-jurisdiction issues which arise with assignees, or simply not have the time to manage all aspects of the assignee population. We can take the hassle away from you and become your extended HR function in managing the expatriates.

International Case Study - Lamex Food Group
James Cowper Kreston’s membership of Kreston has led to the firm being able to compete for much larger, and more complex, audits. We have been able to bring together teams from around the world to pitch for, and win, substantial multi-jurisdictional audit work.
In May 2010 the firm, together with Kreston partners in the Netherlands and the USA, was appointed by Lamex Food Group, a privately owned company operating in 12 countries, employing 120 staff and with a turnover exceeding half a billion pounds (sterling).
At the time of appointment Phil Wallace, Lamex Food Group’s chief executive officer said: “James Cowper Kreston and the two other firms in the Kreston International network were able to demonstrate a very high quality of individual advisers and coordinated expertise married with the personal service that we were looking for.”
