Nigel Elkes, owner of Herald Chase appointed James Cowper Kreston Corporate Finance to provide advice during the acquisition of Richfield Graphics Limited.

Led by Nick Rogers, the JCKCF team assisted Nigel to negotiate the deal with the shareholders of Richfield Graphics and produced a business plan and financial model in order to raise capital to finance the acquisition. The key to the deal was to create a deal structure which mitigated the risks associated with a high dependence on certain shared customers, the team completed the transaction in 3 months.

Herald Chase are based in Reading, Berkshire and provide printing and mailing services to many national clients. With the acquisition of Richfield Graphics, Mr Elkes was able to strengthen his offering to clients and build on the growth that both Herald Chase and Richfield had been enjoying. The Herald Group have, with assistance from JCKCF, since made further acquisitions including Fairway Press and are enjoying continuing growth and success both locally in the Thames Valley and nationally.
