At James Cowper Kreston, we have a thorough understanding of the requirements for listed companies.
We act for a range of fully listed, AIM and PLUS companies. Our team consists of corporate finance and transaction tax partners who have considerable experience in dealing with listed companies.
Our chief role in a company flotation is to help you project manage the whole process. Prior to the Initial Public Offering (IPO), we carry out a careful grooming process that establishes objectives, builds strategic plans and deals with tax issues, such as employee share incentives and tax relief for investors.
During the actual IPO we act as reporting accountants, introducing you to Nominated Advisers (NOMADS), brokers and lawyers and assisting with institutional presentations. After the IPO, our function develops into audit, accounting and business advisory support, including tax compliance and advice on acquisitions and divestments.
We're also on the panel of advisers to ShareMark, an innovative share-trading and fundraising facility for small and medium sized companies, including those which are unlisted elsewhere. ShareMark differs from other markets in operating through an electronic auction market, matching buyers and sellers at a single price.
